So Far, Still Far

I know I haven't posted to this blog in a while.  But I am still training and haven't given up.  Here's a quick overview of how my training is going.

Swimming: Can't get that freestyle down.  I'm having problems with the breathing timing: Above water=inhale. Under water=exhale.  I kept mixing the two and I must tell you pool water ain't a good bottle of vino especially when it's spiked with a good dose of chlorine.

Running: This basic stuff is where I'm having the most difficulty.  I am wiped out after just three miles of solid running.  And that's on a threadmill where everything is even and with a nice rubber padding.  If there's anything that hints of me not being able to do this triathlon thing, it's in this running.

Biking: If I can't make 4 miles with my own two feet I'm not trusting two wheels at this stage of the game.

Despite my lack-luster start and the seemingly far journey I still have to cover, I am still determined to do this.
